Wildlife Garden Design

Design starts with your ideas. We believe you are a vital part of the design process; at all stages we will consult fully with you, and are available to answer any queries you may have. At the outset we carefully assess what type of garden will suit you, whether it is for weekend entertaining with little time for weeding, or a space you have more time to nurture and enjoy every day. All sorts of gardens can be good for wildlife!

The Design Process

The initial consultation is free, and normally takes one or two hours. Aims, objectives, and preferred budget are discussed and you can see what we have to offer. We provide you with an initial design brief together, in most cases, with a quotation for the site survey, design and plan preparation. We’ll also put you in touch with previous clients as referees.

A draft layout plan is then produced together with estimates for all landscaping and planting, allowing us to tailor the work to your budget. This plan will show how individual features, such as borders, a wildlife pond, meadow, lawn, and bespoke structures e.g. a timber pergola; fit together in your new garden.

Following a feedback meeting with you, we produce the final plan along with firm quotations for the proposed work.
